ABOUT JEFF PEACOCK
Republican Candidate
for Florida's
1st Congressional District
Jeff Peacock is a native of Century, Florida and works as a math teacher at Navarre High School in Navarre. He is married to Jodi Nellums Peacock, his high school sweetheart and a graduate of Pace High School. He is the son of Hollis Peacock, a WWII veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor, and Mary Roach Peacock, a lifelong resident of Century.
During his career, Jeff has started several successful small businesses, including a video production company in Pensacola and a printing and photography business in Pace. As a small business owner, Jeff was an active member of the Pace and Santa Rosa chambers of commerce. Early in his career, he also worked as a strategy and organization advisor to a wide array of private sector and non-profit organizations.
Jeff graduated from Century High School and went on to earn an associate’s degree from Pensacola Junior College (now Pensacola State College) and a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in economics and finance from the University of Chicago and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
Politically, Jeff has been active in Republican Party politics for over two decades. He has served as an officer of the Escambia County Republican Executive Committee and was also active in local and state Republican politics in Alabama. He has worked on numerous GOP campaigns across multiple states, most recently serving as a senior advisor to NY GOP gubernatorial nominee (and President Trump’s appointee to lead the Environmental Protection Agency) Lee Zeldin. In this role, Jeff assisted in crafting education and transportation policy for the Zeldin campaign.
As a teacher, Jeff is passionate about education. He currently works as an algebra teacher at Navarre High School, where he teaches 130 juniors and seniors intermediate-level algebra. Before joining the staff at Navarre, Jeff taught at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management in Washington, DC. In addition to being a teacher, Jeff has also developed education policy for multiple GOP candidates, worked with grassroots leaders to fight bad education-related policies, led efforts to recruit conservative candidates to run for local school boards, and fought radical proposals that would inject leftist ideology into public school curricula.
